It’s pretty well known that you can bring a cozy feel to a larger space by using darker colors. But, you don’t have to feel limited to dark colors. A little known secret is using contrast to your advantage. For instance, lighter furniture against a warmer colored wall will actually make the space seem even cozier. And, the same applies to wall color. Darker shades of wall color with lighter colored baseboards and borders helps to break up the space and will make your large room feel warm and cozy.
