What would you say the “essence” of Brown Shweshwe Bowl is?

I think the red one would look especially lovely on my dining room table. My cat MAY lay it, and the red one would look better with her “color”!

Thank you for again promoting beautiful creations that have such a humanitarian purpose. Now that it has been decided the costly tests that forced people to travel to far away cities are of no value; the doors for treatment will be opened to many more. Eliminating the tests also frees up funding that can now be used to lower the cost of the drugs themselves.Unfortunately, even with such good news, there will still be people infected with HIV who will die needlessly.Much more funding is needed for drugs, research and education about the disease.May blessings continue to flow upon you and on the hands of those who bare their souls with their hands.Amen.

The thing I find most facinating about these bowls is the line of connection from the creation of the artifact to the consumer. What an amazing journey. It also doesn’t hurt that the bowls are so beautiful, very sophisticated art. Red is my favorite color!

It would be truly fun to win this Shweshwe bowl. It is so unusual. I would give it to my daughter for her birthday in November. She is planning her third mission trip to South Africa next summer to do some physical therapy and fundraising to build a school.
